So this is a straight up drag race between 4 of the fastest sports cars that are on the road today. Who do you think comes out on top? My personal favorite the Nissan GT-Rhas been making waves lately, and is the most economic of the bunch holding down just 480 HP, but will it be a match for the swole Corvette ZR1 rolling with 638-hp under the hood? Lets not forget that the Ferrari and Porsche are no slouches ether. They each arrive with 612 HP, and 530 HP respectively coming in at over $100,000. But in the end this race isn’t about pricings, its about speed. Make the jump to find out who comes out top dog…

Are Ferrari Branded Flying Cars Imminent?

You betcha, and a-whole-lot sooner then you might think. Ferrari will be dropping their first flying whip entitled the “Autovolantor” in just a few years. Based on the $319,653 Ferrari 599 GTB model, it’ll take off vertically helicopter-style, thanks to it’s eight thrusters. Tilt those same thrusters backward and you’ll be able to flying forwards at a top speed of 100mph on the ground, and 150mph in the air. It’s hybrid fuel & electric system pushes out an insane 800 brake horsepower and let it fly at altitudes of up to 5,000. Too bad at $800,086 it’ll certainly be while before Joe Six-pack will be to afford one on of these.

Arash AF10 Is A Certified Enzo Killer In More Ways Than You Would Expect

The genesis of this Arash AF10 is far from what you would expect from your average supercar. It was not created by some famous racer who wanted to leave a legacy, or from a some snobby Italian design house. it was created because some ignorant employee at a Ferrari rebuked would-be Enzo buyer Arash Farboud. So an vengeful Mr. Farboud did what any other wealthy humiliated aristocrat would do, he bought revenge, and your looking at it. He created the AF10 specifically to take out Ferrari’s pride and joy, the Enzo.

The Arash AF10 is powered by GM’s 505 HP 7.0-liter LS7, and has an estimated 0-60 of 3.4 seconds (1/10th of a second faster than the Enzo). The car reaches a top speed of 204 mph, but a more powerful 850 HP AF10-S variant is on the way and it will boast even more ridiculous times. A jaunt in this malevolent supercar will only cost you $300,000, and will be limited to a production run of 24 per year. Gallery and spec list after the jump.

Ferrari’s V4 Motorcycle Concept Is a Vehicular Afrodisiac

Created by Israeli industrial designer Amir Glinik, this is one motorcycle that is guaranteed never to leave your nights lonely, it reeks of lust and exudes passion and everything else that causes women to swoon. It features a modified engine from the Ferrari Enzo, handlebar controls from a F-16 fighter jet and switches from off of a Formula 1 race car. Pricing and top speed is still anybodies guess, however Glinik says. “As far as how fast it goes and how much the bike would cost, we can only speculate about very big numbers in both cases.”

Ferrari has had the supercar game on lock, they have since expanded into segways, home gyms, and even mobile phones so course their very own theme park would be next. The Italian automotive manufacturer in collaboration with real estate developer Aldar Properties plan on rivaling Disneyland with their new Ferrari themed amusement park. Just in time for the 2009 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the park will open in the United Arab Emirates and a ceremony was held today to announce the beginning construction on the 250,000 sqm attraction. According to AME:

“When completed in 2009, the attraction will provide amusement for the whole family, featuring multi-format high tech theatres, a variety of sophisticated driving schools (for both children and adults), Ferrari automotive displays and participatory learning centres as well as food and entertainment. Among the 24 attractions, the park will offer a mix of high-octane and family rides with roller coasters jetting into the sky and dipping through the covered areas. At the heart of the park will be an advanced and sophisticated circuit offering driving courses, which will be the home of the first Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix in 2009…”

For those of you unfamiliar with Edo Competition you might want to do some research to understand the severity of this unholy communion. Edo by far is one of the most serious and ludicrous vehicle tuners period. He plays with the cars most have wet dreams over. He has over hauled every super car from Enzo’s to Maserati MC12 and he has yet to labeled as overzealous.

He has taken the Ferrari 599 GTB and turned it to near perfection. With hp levels of up to 750 you can bet your bottom dollar that this beauty is a beast. Was that a corny quote? Yes, but this car is far from that. Images after the jump.

Well its for the most part the beginning of making the Ferrari even faster… Yea, its a bit unnecessary, I know. The Italian auto manufacturer has recently revealed its remarkable FXX Evoluzione, which they like to call “the further evolution of the FXX program that places ‘client test drivers’ behind the wheel of developmental test beds to try out new equipment for Ferrari.” This beast rocks a V12 engine which output has been raised to 860 HP and 9,500 rpm and the shift times has been taken down to a re-dam-diculous 60 milliseconds. Nevertheless, just in time to celebrate Kimi Raikkonen’s F1 championship, Segway presents their “PT i2 Ferrari Limited Edition”. It rocks genuine leather handlebars and the Cavallino Rampante shield but as mentioned in the title the speed matches that of your everyday Segway, sorry to disappoint speed demons. The LeanSteer frame and handlebar tilt functions also responds exactly the same as the original and will provide the same versatility when it comes to storage and transportation. $12,000 would be the price tag, and theres a few more photos after the break.
