Wu-tang’s Genius takes it back to the good ol’ days where beef stayed on wax, and who won was decided by superior wordplay. ‘Paper Plates’ is the first leaked track off of the album (in stores August 19th, 2008, album cover above) and the tenured MC completely eviscerates his victim on this track — which does poise a interesting question. Should 50 just take it? Or risk a swarm of African Killer Bees…

The collaborative diss track is entitled ‘Blow The Whistle’ in which Jay briefly flows over Short Dog’s 06′ single. Now I will say its rather appropriate regarding Deshawn’s flagrant ass foul and all, but if you acknowledge the fact that Jay-Z really hasn’t battled any real MCs and emerged as a clear victor, makes you question why he’s turned to basketball players? Unless Jay plays Deshawn in a game of one-on-one and proceeds in crossing his life over and dunking all in his face, I’m not impressed. There’s also the fact that he’s trying to stunt on an NBA player, a highly paid starting NBA player, how fruitless is that?
