Hip-Hop head Daniel Bailey’s concocted this bad boy after hearing about the Peugeot competitions’ stipulations, and we definitely hope to see in production one day. Here’s what the up and coming designer had to say about his concept car:

“I figured two of the main problems of future cities would be pollution and over population. So tackling those issues, I constructed the car to be powered through electricity and a hydrogen fuel cell, which left the other problem. With over population comes more vehicles and the need for more storage space, so birthed the concept of a folding car. The car folds up to 50% of its original size, uses the negative vertical space (usually disregarded), thus it potentially doubles the amount of parking spaces…”

“Two rollers would come from the bottom, roll the car up, turn and slide the car into the space sideways, the driver would have to exit prior to the folding. The braking lights on the car will intensify with the braking of the driver, the harder they brake, the brighter the brake light. The car is also painted with lines of paint that will glow at night (stay tuned for those renders). It’ll also have transparent rims, purely for cool factor. The car was designed similar to the bike, aerodynamic, with my intentions to conserve energy wasted propelling the car forward — the less energy used, the more Eco-friendly it becomes. The doors open in a Lamborghini manor, with inspirations from the Peugeot 908 and Lamborghini Murcielago, and from my speed racing bike. The car also has a full 180 degree moon roof, which in tandem with the rest of the features makes for a real sexy, sleek and mean car, something I try and do with most of my designs…”
