Black Sun Entertainment’s recently released proof-of-concept video for “Azureus Rising” is intended to build a bit of publicity, as the studio intends to expand it into a feature film trilogy. Directed by David Weinstein and produced by a team of five individuals, this promo was completed in just a few months. We certainly hope “Azureus Rising” reaches fruition, and you’ll see why after watching the short below the break…

Independently produced by actor/director/martial artist Joey Ansah, the short film “Street Fighter: Legacy” will be available to watch online May 6th. And if you go by the insinuations of his official website, we’ll also have the pleasure of seeing a live action Akuma! Now, we can’t be too picky… but we’ll be throughly disappointed if we don’t get a see a live version of “Shun Goku Satsu“, right? Thats an impressive aspiration to say the least, and is also what creator/screenwriter Haylar Garcia hopes “A.D.” (his animated zombie short film) will manifest into. There’s a possibility this project will never see completion as “A.D.” is currently sans-studio status, but we’ll definitely keep you posted on development. Initially I was bit hesitant on M. Night’s live adaptation of the widley popular American animation “Avatar: Airbender”. The Show was brilliant written and executed from start till finish… Was a live adaptation even really necessary? Well after watching this official Superbowl trailer, i’ll have to say, “Yes indeed.”. Mr. Shyamalan’s choice of casting is still rather questionable, and even a bit conversional, but regardless it looks plain fun.
