Oh yes they did. Now when the developers were posed with the concept of a crossover between Street Fighter (2D) and Tekken (3D) we’re certain they thoroughly deliberated on the games inevitable compromise. Its was either turn Street Fighter into a 3D game with side stepping abilities, or turn Tekken 2D and remove that aspect. As you probably guesstimated, they took the latter path. Converting Street Fighter into a 3D game might of proved far to daunting a task to complete, but we can’t complain. The attached gameplay below the break is official, and definitely looks entertaining. Stay tuned for further updates and information on availability…

Independently produced by actor/director/martial artist Joey Ansah, the short film “Street Fighter: Legacy” will be available to watch online May 6th. And if you go by the insinuations of his official website, we’ll also have the pleasure of seeing a live action Akuma! Now, we can’t be too picky… but we’ll be throughly disappointed if we don’t get a see a live version of “Shun Goku Satsu“, right? Catch the official teaser for Joey Ansah’s “Street Fighter: Legacy” after the break.

Well the tangible form of Soccer that is… Enter the balless (is that even a word?) “Sport Pong”. Similar to a Nintendo Wii game that requires physical movements to block or hit a virtual ball, paddles must be worn by users as they use these as reflectors on a projected field. A camera is then used is used to track the movement of the reflector, and the games begin. Catch some live footage of “Sport Pong” below, and we’ll keep you updated on development…

That’s right ladies and gents, after years and years of speculation and rumors it seems this long awaited video game adaptation has finally been confirmed. First Showing mentions that this bad boy has been entirely shot, and is just waiting for an official release date, so those with thin patience keep tabs on the official IDMB page. We’ve been anticipating this one for some time, and we’ve got to applaud the casting director(s), the characters’ resemblance are stunning – they even acquired Lateef Crowder as Eddy Gordo (But how could they not after his performance in “Ong Bak”?). Definitely keep it locked for the official trailer…
