Facemob comes off mighty ferocious on ‘Emeritus’, the lead single to the veteran’s upcoming, and unfortunately final LP. It’ll be in stores 12/2/2008 (title unknown), and for those curious as to the meaning behind Scarface’s single’s title, ‘Emeritus’ is defined as:

“Retired or honorably discharged from active professional duty, but retaining the title of one’s office or position: dean emeritus of the graduate school; editor in chief emeritus.”

Yup, that fits the legend appropriately.

Soul’s Of Mischief’s own Opio snatches up Del & Guilty for the remix of his first single off “Vulture’s Wisdom Vol. 1.”, the MC’s debut solo LP. The respect has been paid to the blackploitative classic ‘Superfly’ appropriately, but Spec Boogie’s attempt was definitely just a’ bit more poignant. Catch our drift after the break.

This is the way of the tech world, nothing is ever confirmed until the very end. Well RIM’s handset formally known at the Javelin is no exception, as it’s now been officially dubbed the “Curve II”.  Slated for a release on T-Mobile in November, the Curve II will have a couple new features (not on the Bold) that are definitely notable. Such as it’s “atomic” trackball, said to be “silky smooth” and intended to stop dust, dirt, debris, rubbish, food, lint, boogers and all other unwanted particles that make their way into your device, from impacting the performance of the trackball. Catch the full spec rundown after the break.
