‘Get Up’ is the alleged first single off of 50’s upcoming “Before I Self Destruct” LP, which actually is what last year’s “Curtis” was initially titled, before Cam’s dirty work. If I had to summarize this song, I’d call it 2004, because it sounds like 50 traveled back an entire 4 years for hopes of another track as big as “In Da Club” was at the time. That beat is knocking, but 50’s choice of wordplay is as unoriginal as it gets.
