Well, apparently ‘Rising Up’ is the Root’s new single as earlier in the week due to a tumultuous fan response to ‘Birthday Girl‘ they have decided to drop it. I don’t blame them either, the new track features the newly signed MC from DC Wale, and the always appropriate Chrisette Michele. So check the track out, its got a smooth vibe and in tandem with ?uestlove’s percussions it looks like they made a good choice. ‘Rising Down’ is in stores April 29th 2008, and speaking of which they just had a listening party for so check that out as well…
